It is to be noted that the avowed policy of the executive committee of the Ophir Karate Association is that under no circumstances will the use/misuse of drugs by any member of the association be tolerated.

'Drugs' refers to any substance deemed by the Sports Council(s) to be banned from the list of acceptable drugs. The list may be obtained from the Sports Council of Northern Ireland or the Irish Sports Council.

Any member found to be in contravention of this rule will be immediately expelled from the association and the Sports Council for Northern Ireland and the Irish Sports Council will be notified of the said ban and the circumstances surrounding the same. If deemed necessary by the committee, the appropriate law enforcement agency will also be notified.

All members have the right to appeal a ban.
